I just have to have this especially during New Year supposed to eat it for long life!
Ingredients:
1 small onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
10 fresh green beans stalks, cut diagonally
1 big carrot, cut in 3 sections & sliced lengthwise
1 cup shredded cabbage
2 cups beef or vegetable broth
3 pork chops, cubed
2 lbs. shrimp, shell off
1 pkg. Chinese noodle or Philippine Pancit/Canton noodle
3 small packages of Chinese Vermicelli (Cellophane Noodle) or Rice Sticks/ Bihon
salt, pepper & MSG(optional)
6 tbsps.olive oil,divided
Procedure:
1.Soak both noodle in water using two different bowls.Heat 2 tbsps. olive oil and stir fry cubed pork. Cook until brown,set aside.
2. Heat another 2 tbsps. olive oil and stir fry shrimp.Cook until pink & set aside. Saute garlic & onions in the remaining oil.Cook until onions are translucent
3. Toss in Rice Sticks & Pancit Noodle.Toss til combined.Pour in Broth.
4. Toss in cooked pork & shrimp, green beans, carrots, shredded cabbage, salt, pepper and mix and let it simmer for at least 5 minutes in low heat.Stirring twice and then transfer to platter.
Enjoy...
I added the veggies 5 minutes before simmering to keep it crisp. Avoid overcooking veggies.
